Welcome to Tree Town Early Childhood Centre and Preschool
Tree Town Early Childhood Centre and Preschool is situated in central Cambridge. We provide education and care for children aged three months to five years. We have separate areas for our infants and toddlers and a separate building for our preschoolers.
We offer small group sizes throughout the three areas of the Centre and Maori language resources and equipment are well integrated into all areas of the Centre. 
- Our Infants Area provides ‘Primary Caregiving’ which enables the infants to form strong and trusting bonds with our teachers.
- Our Toddlers Area teachers give careful attention to promoting verbal and non-verbal communication and encouraging our children’s skill in co-operative play with and alongside others.
- Our Young Children Area supporting and encouraging them as they become aware of their strengths and gain confidence in their own abilities.
- In our Preschool Area, literacy and mathematics are integrated naturally into routines, play, and the learning environment.
Tree Town is passionate about providing quality care and education for young children.
In all areas of the centre, our environments are well planned and allow for easy indoor/outdoor flow with integration of all play areas where our children mix well together. The majority of our staff are fully qualified or in-training, and the remainder undertake regular professional development in areas of early childhood development.
