If you’re looking for a day care where your child will feel happy and settled, and you can leave them knowing they will be well taken care of, then look no further than Tree Town Early Childhood Centre and Preschool.
Tree Town thrives on being child-centred and consists of qualified, supportive staff, owned and managed by the very experienced Sally Hooker.
Sally’s Early Childhood experience began while attending Leamington Playcentre with her 3 children then going on to complete her Diploma in Early Childhood Education at the University of Waikato.
Sally credits the success of TreeTown and its great reputation to:
*Consistent staff retention
*Quality of care
*Safe and secure environment.
In our 20 years the Centre has evolved, with adding the Totara Room – Young Children in 2017 and with a separate preschool to foster a ‘school readiness’ programme to help children for more formal learning. Adding the Totara room has enabled the Primary Care to continue through our Kowhai/infants and Kauri/Toddlers Areas.
“Teachers make consistent use of practices that promote positive outcomes for children. Primary caregiving, where one teacher becomes the main provider of nurture and care, is an important strategy used by teachers to promote a strong sense of belonging and well-being in children and whānau.”
